I wanted to grab you, I wanted to throw you against a wall and kiss you.
I wanted to thrust my leg inbetween yours, feel you quiver with desire.
I wanted to feel your hands groping at my arms, your fingernails digging into my skin.
I wanted your hot breath to carry whispers of surrender, of submission.
I wanted you, needed to make you mine.
But even if I had, you wouldn't have been mine.
You would have faded.
In the same way you did in the end.
One night I felt you leave me.
Slowly. Silently.
I didn't hold you back.
I let you go.
I knew it was time.
You didn't linger, though your scent did.
My memories of you did.
A piece of your soul did.
Should we meet again, we'll both revive.
Though parted we'll revive as one, stonger than anything ever before.
One night I felt you leave me.
Slowly. Silently.
I didn't hold you back.
I let you go.
I knew it was time.
I knew we would meet again someday.
